Ok so I never cared to become a "blogger" but lately I've been intrigued by this new concept. So I'll introduce myself. I am 23 years old and live in California. My husband and I have been married for 3 years and have an 8 month old son. We met at BYU-Idaho and graduated in April 2006. A good job brought us out here and I was excited. I wanted to leave the bubble and be in the "real world." So for the summer I worked on a california tan while Jer was at work. Then I started teaching Special Ed. at a high school for the 2006-2007 school year. It was tough but rewarding. I was pregnant basically the entire time I taught and it was interesting to see how the students reacted when they finally found out. Their attitudes were a little different towards me...nicer. School ended on June 12 and I stayed in bed almost for an entire month. Our son was born on July 9, 2007 at 11:47 pm. He was 8 lb. 13 oz. and I can't remember how long. I think he was 23 inches.... Since then we have had no sleep. Parker is now teething and his first tooth appeared on March 12. So he has been cranky but I can't imagine how bad it hurts. He is crawling and standing up. In fact today he stood up and balanced himself without any help. He is so fun!! He loves to eat vegetables and is trying new food like turkey rice and mac and cheese. He is such a good kid!
