First Snowfall

Can you believe it snowed here??!! We woke up Saturday morning to snow. I was not happy about it:( Parks kept looking out the window and saying "snow, snow." He was excited to see the white stuff falling from the sky. Luckily, it has all melted! I just hope it will be awhile before the snow comes back. Jeremy decided that today is the day that Parker becomes a big boy. He took down the crib and turned it into a toddler bed. I was not excited about it only because I didn't think he was ready for it. He wasn't trying to get out of his crib so I thought why ruin a good thing? Parks was so excited!! He kept saying "night night" and shutting his door. We would look in and see that he was sitting on his bed. He loves being independent and the "freedoms" we have given him. As of right now, he is doing awesome because he hasn't come out of his room! I hope it lasts:) It makes me a little sad to know that he is growing up so fast. It seems like yesterday, we brought him home from the hospital. I remember the drive home being very slow and cautious. I remember thinking that I might break him if I hold him the wrong way or something. Now, it seems that nothing can break my son! Seriously, it takes a LOT for my kid to cry! Jer and I are so blessed to have his sweet spirit in our home. I don't know what my life would be like without him. (Maybe a little less stressful and relaxing!) He is such a joy!!!
